My first visit to Rio Verde was for lunch. Bright, colorful atmosphere. Excellent and prompt service. And my deluxe salad with grilled chicken was delicious. Nice selection on the lunch menu and regular menu.

Met up here for breakfast with family, first time here. My husband and I got huevos ranchero, OMG so good and they give you plenty tortillas. The service was okay it started getting busy so I completely understand. But I definitely recommend.

They have great authentic Mexican food. I love eating here. When I don't have time to sit and eat they will have my order ready all the time. I just go pick up and be on my way. Its Family Owned and thy have so friendly. Once you go their a few times and they know you...they will have your food ready. Im so happy to know they've changed the hours! It's good to know that its open by the time I go to lunch!! Yay. Still great food

We have been coming here for the last 20 years. There is no food that compares to this restaurant! A must try restaurant if you are visiting Houston. I always get the chicken fajita taco salad and it comes with queso dip in a fried tortilla bowl. We also get the shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas that come with home made flour tortillas. I would also recommend the breakfast 10/10 The staff always speaks Spanish first, however they also speak English. The menu is in Spanish and in English. They also do take out orders if you call ahead!

We stopped by on our way back to Dallas and it was the best decision ever. Definitely authentic food, just like my mother’s, who is also from the Huasteca Potosina. The salsa was perfect. We will definitely be stopping by anytime we’re in the area.

Enchiladas rioverdenses here are so delicious!! 10/10 Definitely recommend! This place is family owned. Love the atmosphere here, the owner is a wonderful woman.
